Happy Mothers Day

I hope all you mothers had a wonderful day i sure did.
I got to sleep in and my son and husband had a gift and cards on the table when i woke up.
Aaron and I are playing on a softball team so we had double header softball at 10am, aaron's mom came over and hung out with matthew while we played softball. We won. yeah!!!!
My sister and I took my mom to suishi, then we went down town to some winery's for some wine tasting. We went to a winery called Barrister they had a great white wine that i bought really good after drinking at a few winery's and a good buzz we went and got a latte and got out toes done. Got home about around 6pm and then took aaron's mom out to dinner at timber creek buffet for dinner.
Now i'm heading to bed after a busy and wonderful weekend.

Mini Vacation

We took off Spring break weekend to Kellog Id to Silver RApid reaf for a little fun for the kids. We meet aaron's brother and his girlfriend Mya and there 4 kids. We stayed in a great hotel they was right next to the indoor water park.
Matthew was still recovering from his 7 day fever and double ear infection poor kid, so he played a little but was still pretty sick. They have this big bucket of water and matthew didn't like it that it dumped water all over so we had to stay very far away from "the bucket" as he calls it.
The other funny thing that he said while we where riding in the elevator, he said " we go again in the hopagator", that is what he calls the elevator. We stayed 2 night had a good time don't think we would go again anytime soon, it was ok for the price but a little expensive for the food next time we will prepare food in our rooms since we had mini kitchens.

CABO WABO

So my sister is graduating from massage school she has been going for over a year now and her big day is feb 27th. We are very excited for her. So my mom, my sister and I are going on a girls get away we have been researching flights and hotels in many different places, vegas,san diego and even to go see my best friends in Naples Florida, But we found a steal of a deal to go to Cabo San Lucas for 3 nights 4 days all inclusive package for 500 a person that is an amaving deal. We are so excited we leave March 6th and return March 9th. Cabo here the jensen's girls come :)

We had an amazing time in Cabo!! Can't wait to go back!!!!!

Sick on Friday

Mattew is sick today he sounds like he has croup and he has a temp of 100 we are going to see the Dr today just to make sure his ears and tonsils are good. Hopefully it is nothing he seems a little better after i gave him a little motrin and a cough elixir he has has this cough all week.
I'm suppose to go skiiing this weekend which i have been looking forward to all week but depending on how matthew feels i dont think i will be doing. Also i'm going out for drinks with my friend Kelly just for a couple house so i think i would rather stay home with matthew and have drinks later with Kelly and my friends.

Daycare and Potty

Going Potty at Kims house has been doing very well. He has gone in the potty all week at Kims house we are very proud of him. Also we had a little birthday get together for the Nurse practicioner i work for at work and Matthew was there and he had to go potty twice and we went in the restroom and i held him up and he went potty. He is going very well. We are still alittle scared to go poo but that will just come in time.

Jump and Bounce

Friday late moring I took Matthew to Jump and Bounce. We go to jump and party all the time and The Fun Guy in CDA. But we have never gotten a chance to go to Jump and Bounce because it never has open jump on the weekend. So it was and Matthew and I had a blast.

The funny thing that Matthew tells me when i get excited and have fun with him he tells me, "listen mommy settle down"...lol i will remember that forever i think that is the funniest thing he has said in a long time :)

Bedtime

Bed time has been getting better, it is only taking 15-20mins to get him to stay in bed. Monday night we had a easy night he went to bed within 15 - 20mins. So aaron and I went to bed and at 2am I heard matthews bedroom door shut, aaron and I woke wondering what was going on and then i see Matthew standing at our door way and I got out of bed and asked him what he was doing, he said " hi mommy i'm awake" i looked at him and said " matthew it is night time and it is time to get back in bed" so he finally got in bed...But i was watching him in our monitor and he was just laying there so i was awake for an hr or more trying to go back to sleep hoping he woouldn't get back up...He finally fell asleep

Matthew and the Potty

So yesterday 01/07 went to Kims daycare and the diaper he came in was just being changed to a new on at 500pm he went in the potty all day at daycare. I'm so proud of him and we are just going to get better and stronger. We decied to stay in the daiper and not the pulls ups because i was talk to Kim and reading that it slows down because they are so interested in the pulls it takes away from them using the bathroom. I'm very proud of my MONKEY....Good job big boy

SPOKE TO SOON ON THE POTTY TRAIING!!!

So my son Matthew did wonderful the last 3 days of wanting to go potty in the toilet. I spoke to soon saying it seems to easy to potty train i take that all back. Today is a different story we both have had one bad day. He is now refusing to go in the potty he has gone potty in his pull up all day only a couple time in the toilet. I'm a little frustrated ,but i have to hold it in so he doesn't get discouraged i've been reading the books and just need to keep him motivated this is really hard.

Potty Training

So this week my son Matthew he is 2 years and 5 months has been interested in potty training which makes me sooooo happy. He has been watching daddy go in the potty and he is starting to stand up and pee ,so i got him some of those big boy training pullups and he has been wearing them the last two days and only has had a couple accidents. I'm so proud and just went poopoo for the first time in the potty this evening..I thought this potty training thing was going to be hard but it seems like he want to be a big boy and go in the toilet so we are going with it.

Winter

So it started snowing December 17th and it really hasn't stop snowing. We have about a total of 4 feet of snow. Matthew is really enjoying it and so our the animals, but it has been really tought to get around. Both mine and aaron's worked called snow days for the 18th and 19th of december and the hospital shut down elective surgeries unless it was urgent because they closed the south hill. Aaron drives a volkswagen jetta and we had to trade it in for a big car since he works out in CDA and it has been hard for him to get around in the little car . Day after Christmas we went down and bought a Jeep Commander. Aaron is much happier it is a pretty nice ride.
